With 2000 or almost 3000 meters altitude, Tyrol’s mountains are simply too tempting for climbing. Therefore a lot of tourists hike up to huts or go rock climbing, even those who normally do not hike. There is a lot more than the classic hike or climb. The Zugspitz Arena offer numerous tours, walks and hikes to impressive waterfalls and secret mountain lakes, botanic sensations and both culinary and cultural highlights.

The Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena has become the bike mecca of the alps and is the ideal base for wonderful mountain bike tours in all four directions. The fascinating mountains are more motivation than a trainer could be. Mountain bikers are daily pushing their limits. Road bikers know every hidden side path. Hobby bikers and families find pleasurable bike paths. Even those who normally bike only on Sundays spend the week in the saddle.
Mountain bikers doing more than 1000 meters are here at their top level. Bike enthusiasts can expect more than 100 signposted bike trails at the foot of the Zugspitze.
Pleasant bike routes in the valley. „Waterways“ around Lakes Heiterwanger See, Plansee or Fernsteinsee. Challenging mountain bike trails with demanding altitudes far above the tree line.
Ehrwald offers a bike rental and service center, a cycling center that creates your individual training plans as well as bicycle transport with the summer lifts and the railway (from Ehrwald to Heiterwang and further on to Reutte or Garmisch-Partenkirchen). And it is a matter of course: the Zugspitz Arena expects bikers with culinary delicacies.

Golfing
Alpine golfing is the keyword: enthusiastic golfers see “green” in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena. A 9-hole golf course is located between the towns of Lermoos and Ehrwald, right in the center of wonderful mountains. Golfers can expect optimal prospects with a golf course arranged on natural meadows according to top current criteria and a unique setting amidst the Wetterstein mountains and Germany's highest mountain, the Zugspitze.
Within a radius of 100 km golfers will find two dozens of excellent golf courses, including Seefeld, Mieming, Krün/Wallgau and Oberau. The Tyrolean Zugspitz golf course is not only for professionals, even "greenhorns" will do the course thanks to a generous driving range and a golf academy. A top modern club house with restaurant invites golfers to sit together after golfing.
